His intimate, striking portraits captured the energy and personality of music legends such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Rolling Stones, and Bob Dylan, blending candid spontaneity with bold artistic composition. Wolman’s work appeared in countless publications, exhibitions, and books, and he continued to document music, culture, and society throughout his career. Celebrated for his creativity, innovation, and ability to capture the essence of his subjects, Wolman remains a foundational figure in music and cultural photography.
