About the Photographer

Smitty Neal

Born and raised in New York City, Smitty is a photographer best known for his dynamic live music photography. Since 2015, he has photographed bands across the United States, capturing performances with an intense, raw energy that reflects his deep passion for both music and photography. Though relatively early in his career, Smitty’s dedication and instinctive eye have led him to photograph some of the biggest names in the industry, including Cher, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Iron Maiden, and Kiss. His work has been featured in outlets such as RevolverMag.com, Metal Injection, Bass Magazine, and others, establishing him as a compelling voice in contemporary music photography.
